The Parish Council offices are situated in the former Rykneld Homes Housing Office on Stanley Street.
Now the Clerk, Gail, and Deputy Clerk, Judy, are in post we wanted to provide you with any update on our opening times.
The reception is open Monday to Thursday between 10.00am and 2.00pm.
The office is manned between 8.30am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

The Parish Council have been successful in their application to the Woodland Trust for some free tree saplings, as part of the Queens Green Canopy initiative.
If you would like a free tree sapling please contact the Parish Office to reserve your tree.
Trees will be small to medium that encourage wildlife and provide year round colour.

Planning ahead for the winter the Parish Council will be making bags of grit salt available to elderly and vulnerable residents from November onwards.
Eligible residents will be able to request a bag of grit salt to be delivered to their homes by contacting the Parish office between 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

The Parish Council are please to announce that the very successful Extreme Wheels Exhibition programme will be returning to Killamarsh in 2023 over a 29 week programme.
The programme is aimed at young people in our village to get involved in a variety of activities.

There is still time for residents to enter our Parish Calendar Photo Competition.
We are looking for 12 photo's consisting of any scenic landscape photos following the theme 'Out and About in Killamarsh'.
Prizes include 12 Max Spielmann vouchers worth £20 each (limited to one prize per household).
The competition closes 30th September 2022.

Following a bid by NEDCC, £420k of grant funding has been awarded to address anti-social behavior issues across North East Derbyshire.
Killamarsh has successfully been granted funding to refurbish the Skate Park situated in the village, we will keep you updated as and when we receive more information.

The Council is looking to source Speed Indicator Devices (SIDs) for around the village. A bid for funding through the Derbyshire Police & Crime Commissioners Grant scheme has been successful and we have received £6,760 towards their purchase.
We are now in the process of purchasing the equipment and working with NEDCC to approve suitable positions for the signs.

The of Condolence will remain open until 2pm on Sunday 18th September 2022.
Residents wishing to sign the book may do so week days between 9.00am and 6.00pm and 10.00am to 2.00pm at the weekend.
The book is situated in the reception area of the Parish Council offices, former Housing office, on Stanley Street.
