The Lionesses have done it. They brought football home!

It's taken 56 years for an England football team to bring home a major trophy, and it's these formidable ladies that have done it. Following a tense nail biting final, the team won 2-1 against Germany marking a major victory and a huge step forward for women's football.

Derbyshire County Council to invest significantly in highway improvements

At the February Killamarsh Parish Council meeting councillors received a report from Derbyshire County Councillor Mark Foster detailing the roads in Killamarsh which are due to be resurfaced in the coming year (2022/23).

This years £58m investment in 375 of our roads, footpaths and pavements across the whole of Derbyshire is the largest ever of it's kind in the county.

Section 137 grants are now open for applications from charitable groups etc. between the dates 01st August 2021 and 31st August 2021.
